To raise capital:
We will look into exporting Cichlids. It might sound strange to some… That we will make money, in order to preserve, from the export business. The catching and exporting in itself is not a problem. Actually, it is very miner, what is being caught for exports, then what is being caught for consumption. There are many species in fact, that can be caught, without any issues.
We will create knowledge on this matter, and show it.
Mark Thomas has already established a promising network, and we will use this, and he’s time, to create a profit, that can help building, and exploring for more endangered species.
It is also our idea, that by talking directly to the rift keepers, we can get support members, who will like to participate. We can make the hobby more attractive, while we also help each other preserving the Lake, and what is in it. Perhaps supporters will help us a lot with the export business.
A second area, though much smaller, is the income from our supporting members.
The 3 areas, will be the funds we will search from uni and other organizations.
We will use locals and supporters to help build our facilities, and we will come with more details on this project soon. It is about building in clay stones and using biofuel. This fuel is made from plants that grow in the semi-dessert area. Our board member Birger Kluge is in other organizations, deal with this topic. We will build so ecological, and sustainable as possible.
1) Blue Earth Institution plans to spend the money gotten from fish scales, and support memberships, to buy land at Lakes side. Here we will build aquariums, ponds, lodge, to help the endangered species of African Cichlids. The breeding program can release fish back in the wild, and also offer some on the exports, to get the demand away from catching endangered species in the Lake.
2) Our moderators in this group, help importers sharing their post, or help them so that they can post accordingly to rules. They also get involved with work, that the organization is involved with. You as a support member, importer or private, can also be invited to do work for us. Or you're welcome giving your ideas as well. 3) Facebook group members are on a free trial all of 2021, after this, the board will be free to continue the trial or not. 4) Support membership to Blue Earth Institution pay an annual fee of 300,- DKK (approximately January 2021: US: 49,5- Euro: 40,5 Pound: 36,75) (Calendar year) Supporters is a registered member with the organization. But it is not the same as a membership. (support members have no vote, but can participate like a member) For those who also choose to join this FB group, when they have submitted this post with their like also. 5) Importers from anywhere in the world, who become our support members, can buy fish from the organization, by commenting on an announced stocklist by Blue Earth Institution. Or the post in advance of a cathing trip. They raise hand in comments. We will handle all business outside Facebook. But handle orders accordingly to who raised hand first.
6) Importers who bought fish from Blue Earth Institution, submit to offer, to the support members in this group, the same option that they got from the organization. If they want to sell, they must add a post to the group, and let private Support members get their chance of raising hand in comments. If a support member is from the same country as Importer, he/she will get before others in the line. Importers set their own prices.
7) You will find who is the support members (of the this FB group, by looking at the PDF in file section). So that Importers can see, who is first in line with the stocklist they offer. None supporters, can of course also raise a hand in comments. But supporters will get before them in line.
8) Admins are board members of the organization, FB page can also be used by other admins, to control this group. Moderators are few trusted supporters, who help on this FB group.
9) Importers are only allowed to post Stocklist, of what they bought from the organization. (moderators will approve) The group only works by raising a hand, if interested. All sales are happening outside the group. The group is only a platform of information among support members.
10) Blue Earth Institution will try to make this group a place for content and education. By posting special content. The plan is to follow the camp at Lakeside. And from Lakeside send live meetings, that you can participate. And enjoy the video reviews and other content, that is being shared here.
